Before you hire me

How do you invoice?

I issue invoices in USD.

We are in a different time zone. How does that work?

I am based in Korea (KST, UTC+9). I adjust my working hours so part of the day overlaps with yours.

How do we communicate?

In English, in writing: email, Slack, or any chat tool you use. I don't take voice or video calls.

What kinds of contracts do you take?

Both fixed-scope projects with defined deliverables and fixed-term engagements where I join your team for a set period. One fixed-term engagement was remote four days a week.

Can you take over code someone else wrote?

Yes. I have added features to live PHP services and migrated JavaScript and Express services to TypeScript, Next.js, and Nest.js.

Do you support the product after delivery?

I respond through the warranty period, and monthly maintenance contracts are available if you want one. My largest project turned into a maintenance contract after delivery, and I still run it today.
